Have a question about our themes before you purchase? Chances are we’ll have the answer right here for you. If you can’t find answer to your question, don’t hesitate to ask us questions and we’ll get back to you within 1-2 business days.
1. Are you going to do a WordPress version of the ___________ template?
We are currently in the process of converting our Blogger.com templates to WordPress themes.
Our first theme will be Emilia which releases on November 20, 2018. We plan to release a new theme every 3 - 4 weeks. The next themes scheduled are Jemma, Savannah, Adelle, Anaise, etc.
The best way to find out when your favorite design has been released is to sign up for our newsletter.
2. Does your download include the fonts used in the template design?
We make every effort to utilize free Google Web fonts in our designs.
Any fonts used in the designs will be set as the default option for our templates and themes. You may further customize your design from this starting pointing by using the Google font options available in the Customizer section.
Some of our custom logos use a paid font. Link to the paid font will be included with the theme. Most fonts are less than $20.
3. Do you provide dummy content as per your site demo?
All of our WordPress themes include one-click demo imports using the Install Wizard. You can import with or without dummy content.
Some of our Blogger themes do include a file you can use to import fake posts.
If your theme doesn't include a "Demo Content" file, contact our Help Desk and we can send you an import file to use.
4. Can I use Georgia Lou Studios themes on more than one site?
Yes, as long as they are personal or commercial sites run by a single person or entity.
FOR DESIGNERS: If you are buying the templates to design and setup sites for multiple clients, you must buy a new template for each client. In essence, you are purchasing a license for the client (end user) to use our product. See our For Designers page for more details.
5. What platforms/software do your themes work on?
Our Blogger.com themes only work on the Blogger/Blogspot platform. Any themes found in the Blogger.com section or with "Blogger" in the product title are for Blogger.com only. They do not work on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc.
Our WordPress themes work only on WordPress, either a self-hosted WordPress.org site or a WordPress.com site with the Business Plan. They do no work on Blogger.com, Squarespace, Wix, etc.
Sales & Purchase
1. I found a Georgia Lou Studios coupon from *insert site name* but it doesn’t work?
The coupon code is likely expired or not valid.
We generally only offer deals to our Members. Sign up if you'd like to become a member.
2. What is your Refund Policy?
Since Georgia Lou Studios sells non-tangible digital products, it is not possible to “return” or “exchange” the product therefore we do not issue refunds or allow exchanges after the purchase is made, which you are responsible for understanding upon purchasing.
For more details, see our Refund Policy.
3. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Paypal and all major credit cards through Paypal or the Stripe secure payment portal. Currency is in US Dollars ($).
1. Can I remove the Georgia Lou Studios credit from the footer?
We prefer you do not remove the credit link from the bottom of the template/theme.
It is strictly prohibited to replace the link with another link or any text claiming design credit.
If you wish to add a design credit, for example for a web designer who has helped customize one of our themes, a design credit may be placed ALONGSIDE the our theme credit. But again, do not replace our theme credit with a design credit claiming full design credit by another party.
An acceptable example would be“Theme development by Georgia Lou Studios. Website design by ABC Designs.”
2. Am I able to display the entire blog entry or am I limited to displaying just the excerpt and readers will have to click the “Read More” link to read the rest of the post?
Some of our themes give you the choice of showing your full post or using a "Jump Link" to insert a manual Read More button.
Other themes, due to design choices, only use an automatic excerpt and you cannot display the whole post.
Please see the individual theme listing to see what kind of excerpts they use. Themes that ALWAYS show excerpts have "Auto Excerpts" listed as a feature. Themes that allow manual excerpts or full post display have "Manual Read More" as a feature.
Our WordPress themes have the option to display the full post, use the Read More link or use the Automatic excerpts on the Standard Layout only. For the grid, list, mixed or masonry layouts, the Automatic excerpt always applies.
3. Can I upload my own logo?
You can easily upload your own logo on ALL of our themes. Directions are included.
